Like many, I moved to the South Hams at a time when it became possible to work from anywhere. As a TV producer and CEO of Hungry Gap Productions, most of my work and creative circle was in Bristol and London- from presenters, agents, commissioners, writers and crews, the creative hub was all around. Post-Covid those relationships still thrive but now most meetings happen with blurred out backgrounds and cats on keyboards and somehow the conversations just aren't the same.
I have met a lot of creative people in and around Kingsbridge- some have always lived here- others blown in like me. Its fair to say there is a wealth of talent. Setting up a creative network is an attempt to bring creative brains together more regularly, share our ideas and passions and potentially find ways of working together. That might only happen occasionally but I'm sure by meeting and talking , we will all be inspired, make new friends and have a lot of fun.
